Empowering Your Family to Thrive Through Change
You Can Do Hard Things
At Lisa Brown Counseling, we believe you already carry so much strength and resilience within you—sometimes, you just need a little support to bring it to the surface. Our approach is warm, collaborative, and centered on you. Together, we’ll explore what it means to feel truly connected—to yourself, to others, and to the life you want to create. Whether you're coming in as an individual, a couple, or a family, we're here to help you tap into your inner courage while working through whatever challenges life is throwing your way.
OUR SPECIALTIES
Lisa Brown specializes in treating parents as both individuals, and as a couple, when they are in the prenatal (before the birth of a child) and postpartum (after the birth) stages of their family, including those who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss. She also works with individuals + couples who are in a transitional stage of their family (ie: adoption, surrogacy, empty nesters)

LOSS OF A CHILD
FAMILIES IN TRANSITION
As a parent, we are always in a state of grief as we lose our kids a little bit at a time as they grow. After all, we are raising our favorite people to leave us! But even in this constant state of transition, each phase can hold its challenges—and its beauty.
With over 9 years of experience as a mental health professional, I take a relational, person-centered approach to therapy that’s grounded in relationship and connection. My work is shaped by models like attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Family Systems, Internal Family Systems, CBT, and DBT—but I also bring in something a little different.
My goal is to offer clients meaningful and expressive ways to better understand both the challenges and the joys in their lives.
